2024 Van Lier Fellowship in Theater Information Session

Asian American Arts Alliance is now accepting applications for the 2024 Van Lier Fellowship in theater – in the categories of Acting and Directing.

Join us for a virtual information session to learn the nuts and bolts of the Van Lier application and more details on what the fellowship entails on Thursday, February 29 from 12:00 - 1:00pm ET. The information session will include the background and logistics of the awards process as well as advice on preparing a strong application.

Registration is required. This event is FREE & open to the public.

About the 2024 Van Lier Fellowship in Theater:

The Van Lier Fellowship is awarded to two early-career Asian American theater artists, one in Acting, and one in Directing, age 30 or younger. The fellows will receive an unrestricted cash stipend of $7,500 each and an eight-month fellowship tailored to respond to the unique needs of their practice. The fellowship includes artistic mentorship with an established or mid-career theater arts professional, leadership coaching, and a range of technical support.
